For printing purposes if using Netscape 7 please select page setup and be sure the "shrink to fit page width" is selected. You will now be able to print the pages on this site without losing any text, quality, and it's still easily readable.

If you use Internet Explorer all you need to do is select page setup and switch the orientation to landscape instead of portrait and it will print out fine.

Great view of the Wildlife!

For a view of the local "residents" go here or here! One of the features that makes Alaskan Sourdough B&B unique is the wildlife that roam the area. We truly love them and encourage you to view these wonderful images.

Location & Map:

We will be glad to fax you a map and other instructions to get here but in a nutshell, we're located approximately 100 miles south of Anchorage on mi. 3/4 Bean Creek Road in lovely Cooper Landing. You can also check out our map online and print it out!

Handicapped are always welcome! Also, if you have special dietary requirements we'll do everything possible to accommodate those needs. Please advise us during the reservation call so we can be prepared.

Effective immediately, we can no longer provide internet and/or long distance access without toll free dialup or a credit card/phone card. Thank you for your inquiry at the Alaskan Sourdough B & B. We do have nice rooms available however, we would need to know your exact dates to confirm availability, ages, and number in your party.

Our rooms are clean and comfortable. We have 6 rooms to choose from + a 2 room fishermen's bunkhouse. We are located just off the main highway in the heart of some of the most beautiful country you will experience during your visit to our state. We can refer you to fishing charters, hiking, river rafting, horseback riding & flight seeing. You will find exceptional scenic and wildlife photography in our area. If you prefer to take a sea life cruise, go on a halibut charter, view a glacier or visit our newly opened Sea Life Center you are less than an hour's scenic drive away.

We offer reasonable rates and include a delicious hot breakfast for each day our guests are with us. We have a variety of accommodations available.

As stated above, we are within 5 miles of WORLD CLASS FISHING at either the Russian River, or Kenai River.

All the photos in our album are taken at those rivers.

Additionally, the Russian River Falls are a huge attraction each year. It's not unusual to spot salmon leaping out of the water while the bears and eagles watch and wait for the perfect opportunity to get one!

We recommend making reservations now. Early reservations for the busy summer season is highly advised as rooms go fast far in advance to the commencement of the summer season.
